when i was like 17 it was on the raido at like 2am it was done like the old time raido shows. u know your emagination can be fare scairer then eny movie. ive been waiting for them to make it a movie ever scence.

Some reviews say it's another bad adaption of kings great books about a christian who trys to sacrafice people to god in a grocery store.

well actually there is a crazy lady in the store who clames to be christian. who infat tries to sacrafice the boy. she beleavs that only the blood of the inocent can make it go away.

I think it is more about the brake down of society. Put a group of people together and take away electrical power and no way to communicate with the outside world and some people will come unglued. I did not feel that the women was refer to as a Christian but as an unstapled person.

I read the Steven King story that the movie is based on lyears ago so I can pretty much guess the movie is about the same. I am usually disappointed by his movie adaptations from books. I bought Secret Window, just cuz it has Johnny Depp, not realizing it was based on a Steven King story and all I have to say is meh!
In my humble opinion the last good Steven King movie from one of hie stories was The Stand. Before that it was Carrie. But I'm a diehard horror movie buff so I'm picky when it comes to horror flicks. They have to be really freaky or just overly cheezy. |

You know something Wolf, maybe that's why I don't always like King's movies as much as his books. They can never get the ending or non ending right.
But then again that's how Hollywierd messes up most movies that were once good books. And people wonder why I wait until movies are on the $5.00 rack to buy 'em,or get DVDs 3 for $10 used at Gamestop when my hubby is picking out games. |
